Postpartum Depression: Preparing for the Possibility while Pregnant

This is somewhat of a departure for us at InBetweenFriends.com to tackle such a weighty topic as postpartum depression. But this is all in between friends. So, here we go…

When you’re pregnant and anticipating that arrival of your bundle of joy, postpartum depression is usually not the first thing you prepare for. And yet, when that “happily ever after” doesn’t happen after your bring your little one home, it may be due to postpartum depression.

Let us say, again, as we do in the video, the person most qualified to talk to you about any postpartum depression symptoms will be your ob/gyn. He or she will be your greatest ally (and if not, switch doctors) and advocate, so keep that communication line open!

So, join us for a rare and serious talk about postpartum before it can happen to you. And remember, you will feel better! And you are an amazing mother! It’s just that sometimes we need to be reminded to take care of ourselves before we take care of others, including that little bambino of yours.

LIKE our video, SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube channel, and then click on the link in the right sidebar “Email Us!”, and submit a question (or three).

And by the way, we think you are pretty fabulous!

Until next post!

Hugs! E&R
