Announcing: How to Survive the “FIRST OUTING” with Infants/Twins

Okay! So summer has thrown Erin and I off insanely, so thank you for watching this video even though it had NO description! Last week my family was off to the mountains for a lovely week of no technology…and surprisingly, I did not die, or shrivel up, or even miss much (maybe the intimate details of Tom and Katie’s divorce??)! So, thanks for being patient, watching regardless, and for understanding that we all need a break!

And that brings us to our vlog!

Yo! Wassup?? You say it’s your first non-medical outing with your infant (or in our Wonder Woman’s case, twins)? YOWZAS!

Erin and Jeff decided to tackle Costco (do they do everything BIG??) for the first outing with the twins! I love that…because where else would a couple with two infants shop? Hee!

So, their motto was, “Just do it!” without admitting to one another that is was somewhat frightening to figure out the logistics of getting twins in and out of the warehouse store without injury, disease, and all their limbs intact. (And yes, one of my gifts is exaggeration!) But seriously, it was nerve-racking!

And here’s reality…OF COURSE IT’S NERVE-RACKING! The first time you do anything always has an element of fear and dread! Right?? Or maybe I’m alone in that thought process??

So,what can you do to minimize the shock and awe of your first outing? What can you do that’s in your realm of control? And how do you roll with the punches?

Before you start hyperventilating just by thinking about the amount of germs that reside in Costco, or before you pack the car like you’re going away for a month, watch this video with a few simple tips about getting away for the first time! And seriously, you’ll be an expert on your 2nd (well, maybe your 5th) trip out!
