Can You Redefine Gender Stereotypes with Your Infant?

Before you watch this and expect gender research and stereotypes, let us be totally clear…we are just answering the question from one of our viewers who asked, “How do I tactfully let people know that I don’t want my baby girl dressing in pink?”

Yep. You predicted that. We all know it boils down to fashion, especially for us moms! (That was stereotypical in itself, wasn’t it??)

So, how to you rage against the machine known as Target, Kohls, and Baby Gap and try to avoid the stereotypical trends they deem “in” for your little one? Well, there’s good and bad news. The good news? You can…it will be more difficult to shop and find the “perfect” outfit that doesn’t contain pink or blue. The bad news? Once your little one arrives, you will just be happy that your little one is in clean clothes regardless of the color of his/her clothes. Trust us! Just you wait! 🙂

But if you REALLY do care, and it IS important to you, then how can you “passively communicate” your theme for your baby’s existence to friends and family, who will hopefully be supplying the items that will fill your nursery and cover your cutie’s tiny bod?

Join Erin and Rebecca as they creatively talk about how to communicate your expectations…and laugh along as they crack each other up…as usual! We know…you love us!
