“Activities” for 0-3 Month Old Infants

We know, we know. This seems a little mommy zealous. Maybe on the level of signing up for preschool while still being pregnant…or deciding by the time your babe is 18 months what sport he/she will get a college scholarship for. But we promised you we’re not that crazy…well…at least not in that way!

So, Erin’s glorious (and might we say biasedly, handsome) twins are 3 months old…and her question is “what on earth can I do with my boys to help them develop while they’re awake?”

Let’s just clarify one thing at this point, contrary to the nature of this question, actually the best thing you can do for their development is let them sleep, or sleep train them (see previously vlogs on scheduling). Sleep will be the answer to so many of your “problems” with your little one. And if you are having a hard time getting them to sleep, let us just say, “STAY THE COURSE!!” The key will be to be consistent! Actually that is the key to any parenting change you ever want to do between now and the time they move out of your house (hopefully before the age of 25)!

But in those snippets of time that your precious “little” one is not sleeping, what can you do with them to help them discover the world around them? Watch Erin and Rebecca discuss the plethora (thanks to the Three Amigos, the word “plethora” just brings a smile to our faces!!) of possibilities.
